Ettie Lee Youth & Family Services has helped children and families for over 60 years. You can be a part of our continuing efforts to make a difference. Our treatment program consists of five major components: Assessment and treatment planning, individual and family therapy, group therapy, coaching in the group home milieu and community, and interdisciplinary treatment teams. Therapists provide services to clients within our group homes and may also provide services to those in foster homes and the community. Our population consists of severely emotionally disturbed children and teens, with a wide range of diagnoses. Therapists will provide services at agency sites, in family/foster homes or in the community as needed.
Responsibilities:
•Formulate and prepare clinical assessments, treatment plans, discharge and aftercare recommendations
•Conduct individual, family, group therapy and other case management services
•Collaborate with treatment team members, (social workers, foster parents, senior child care workers and client’s parents/legal guardians) to discuss the needs of each child and provide direction regarding interventions
•Maintain complete, timely, and accurate clinical records by documenting all services and communications in accordance with professional standards, and agency time frames
•Conduct and communicate in a professional and respectful manner that provides a therapeutic role model to all agency staff, residents and outside agencies
•Participate in group and individual clinical supervision and training
•Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and evaluate client needs
•Meet agency productivity standards
Skills
MFT, LCSW or MFT Intern with CA BBS registration
Valid California Driver’s License and good driving record required
Experience working with S.E.D. and at risk youth
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of LA County Dept. of Mental Health (DMH) paperwork preferred
Evidence Based Practices experience preferred (Seeking Safety, TFCBT, and/or ART)

Ability/willingness to work evenings and some weekends as well as flexible schedules in order to accommodate families and program needs
