Expanding private practice looking for an enthusiastic and reliable professional with an interest in treating anxiety disorders, specifically Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.

Our Orange County based practice provides treatment to individuals and families specializing in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and related conditions. We are looking for a dependable person who thrives in a busy multidisciplinary clinical environment. Direct supervision and training will be provided for each candidate.
Qualifications:

  • Master’s level degree intern, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Intern must be registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • 2+ Years of experience working with OCD
  • Basic knowledge of anxiety disorders and general psychiatric pathology
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills (spelling, grammar, and style)
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Dependable, punctual, reliable, and professional a must!

Under the general direction and supervision of the Clinical Director, the following represents essential duties.

  • Conduct individual, conjoint, and family sessions
  • Develop behavioral treatment programs for patients
  • Conduct CBT and ERP with patients diagnosed with OCD and/or other anxiety disorders.
  • Develop and implement Outreach to the community for recruitment of new clients and promotion of mental health services
  • Correspond with prospective patients seeking information about our treatment program
  • Maintain excellent relationships with patients, doctors, hospitals and staff
  • Aide the Director in clinical practice
  • Assist in conducting group sessions
  • Manage phone calls, correspondence, patient schedules and emails
  • Conducting home visits when necessary under treatment protocol.
