EXPERIENCED FAMILY THERAPIST: Established, well respected semi-residential outpatient treatment program looking for career minded, motivated individual to work in a therapeutic community setting with severe mental illness (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, dual diagnoses). Candidates must be licensed or pre-licensed/license eligible in CA. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience working with families, including the ability to emphatically set limits and hold boundaries. Familiarity with therapeutic milieu, behavioral, family systems, and psychodynamic approaches a plus. Full time position involves family therapy as well as some individual and group therapy as part of a cohesive, skilled and supportive treatment team. Salary is commensurate with experience. The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for DIS Counseling– Designated Instructional Services focuses on social/emotional functioning that negatively affects academic progress and the development of long-term academic/vocational goals and independent living-skills.
