Job Summary
SafeHouse located in Riverside is seeking a licensed or licensed eligible Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor for a full-time position providing therapy in the Riverside area.The therapist in this position will provide services contracted through Riverside University Health Systems- Behavioral Health, Prevention & Early Intervention program called Stress and Your Mood (SAYM) to youth ages 16-25. The service is provided in non-traditional locations for example in schools, libraries, and other public facilities in the area. Therapist in this position are responsible for doing outreach in the target areas, various clerical duties such as assembling client file folders, screenings and assessments, provide face to face therapy with clients and completing all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.Must be flexible, well organized, possess good networking skills and be an efficient self manager. Hours are flexible. All potential hires must pass a DOJ fingerprint and background check. Must have a clean driving record.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create materials for the client (charts, workbook, admissions paperwork, notes, etc.)
- Scheduling appointments to meet with school officials and other key players in the community
- Documentation of daily activities to be submitted semi-monthly and at the end of each month
- Training’s provided by Riverside University Health Systems- Behavioral Health
- Fidelity meeting on a monthly basis with County liason
- Traveling to site locations to provide services
Qualifications and Skills
- A Mater’s Degree in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Professional Clinical Counselor
- Registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
