Summary:
This position provides therapeutic in home services, including case management and individual, group and family therapy in the home, PFF offices or in the community. The In Home Therapist will be working within the context of a team to provide mental health services and case management to clients referred through Department of Children and Family Services, community partner agencies and self-referrals. The IHT works collaboratively with the team to assess and link the families to needed community services and coordinate all the services that the client receives. The therapist IHT documents all services according to DCFS and Penny Lane guidelines.
The In Home Therapist possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with clients, outside agencies, members of the community, and co-workers. When in a client’s home or other facility, the In Home Therapist will employ a calm demeanor and good ethical and professional boundaries. Excellent clinical skills are used to assess the appropriate level of care for clients and stabilize clients in crisis. Teaming, collaborating and coordination of care with all Penny Lane staff, DCFS, DMH, and other outside agencies is crucial. This position requires flexibility, excellent time management skills and the ability to manage responsibilities efficiently with little supervision.

Salary Range: $50,450 up to $62,500 per year
Additional $5,000 per year Bilingual Spanish Differential
