Young Interventions, Inc. is seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist to work in our Corona office.

Hours are flexible and likely to start light, but to grow to full time.

This position provides the best of private practice and agency work; it has both the private practice setting and clients with varying diagnoses as well as the highest socio-economic need. Supervision and reflective practice is provided to all AMFT’s. A passionate curiosity and drive to help others is key. Make a difference in your community.

Job Overview and Qualifications

This position will start part time but can become full time. The ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term opportunity, desiring to grow with our company. Your strong work ethic, ethical integrity, ability to work independently and as a team, and strong diagnostic skills will lead to your success. Your billing drives your income, so being a self-starter is to your direct benefit.

Essential Duties:

  • Utilizes clinical best practices to conduct screening, intake and assessments to determine the client’s needs develop treatment goals.
  • Performs counseling services with clients and their families through individual, family and group therapy. Employs evidenced-based practices grounded in Behavioral Services methods.
  • Provides crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, case management and referral services for assigned individuals and families.
  • Maintain current notes and billing to ethical and professional standard
  • Provide education, consultation services, and training for other staff, community agencies, and the public
  • Other related work or special projects as requested.
  • Flexible work schedule may be required including evenings and/or weekends, based on client/program needs.

License:

  • AMFT registration with the BBS (Required)

MSW Case Manager Recuperative Care Program

This position will be responsible for intensive case management of clients in the Recuperative Care Program. Case Managers provide intensive support addressing the needs of the clients that have been discharged from local area hospitals to achieve a more adaptive level of psychosocial functioning while in the program.
