Premier Forensic is one of the top civil forensic psychology firms in the US—highly regarded for our meticulous evaluations and report writing in forensic cases, as well as our effective therapy protocols for our patients. We are looking for a select few quality therapist/evaluators to join our Forensic Dream Team to help our clients recover from trauma and achieve wellness.

We do evaluations and therapy for personal injury cases, immigration, and victims of crime.

These include:

*Personal injury assessments and therapy: dog bites, car accidents, burns, shootings, electrocutions, assaults, work harassment, and wrongful death.

  • *Immigration assessments and therapy—a fast growing field in our current climate: Family reunification assessment including 601 Waivers (US Citizen family member petitioning nonresident family members), U Visas (residency through being a victim of crime), VAWAs (violence against women’s act—applies to men and women who have been abused by a US citizen spouse), Asylum (persecution in the home country based on various protected categories, including Race, Religion, Nationality, Membership in a particular social group, and political opinion. Also, court cases related to removal (deportation), as well as in-jail evaluations related to criminal immigration proceedings.

*Victims of Crime: Therapy for victims of crime, including domestic violence, assault, rape, robbery, and murder.

You will be gaining hours for licensure (MFT intern or psychological assistant (in Ph.D. program), if needed, and receiving supervision to enhance your training in civil forensic psychology. If you are licensed as an MFT, LCSW, or Psychologist, we can also offer your professional growth opportunities and a flexible schedule. We also have research, media, and speaking opportunities available for you to reach a broader audience of individuals who need psychological help.

Civil forensic psychology is a very tailored and high demand niche in psychology that integrates law and psychology and helps trauma victims transform their pain into power and achieve wellness.

You will be learning how to do high level psychological assessments and report writing for civil forensic cases. You will learn how the court and jail system interface with client’s psychological conditions. You will also be providing therapy to traumatized, underserved populations. If you are the right candidate, you will find it extremely rewarding to work with us to help individuals, family, couples, and children in a compassionate and empathetic way to help them recover from trauma and achieve their potential.

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, hard-working, and intelligent individual who loves writing, therapy, and helping people overcome psychological pain.

If you speak Spanish that is a plus, but not an essential requirement.

We are a fast-growing forensic firm with 3 offices in Southern California and we are expanding our client base throughout California and other states. Your opportunities for personal and professional growth are excellent as you become a part of our “Forensic Dream Team.” Our network of “Forensic Friends”—high quality, compassionate professionals include doctors, lawyers, mental health professionals, media personalities, victim’s crime advocates, and many others.
