Evolve Treatment Centers is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Associate MFT/MSW/PCCs to join our team at our Agoura Hills and Tarzana-Aura Residential Treatment facility locations. Our team provides the highest caliber of residential treatment to adolescents struggling with addiction and mental illness. Our rapidly growing company is looking for those who are highly qualified and passionate mental health professionals to join us and grow with us.

This position involves providing supervision to six adolescents who are in residential treatment for an average of 30-60 days for issues related to mental health and substance abuse. The ideal candidate is experienced, dedicated, responsible and excited about working with teens with mental health and substance abuse issues. We are looking for someone who is flexible and willing to adjust to the ever-changing nature of adolescent treatment.

This is not a typical primary therapist role, however the Associate role provides a great opportunity to gain exposure and experience with teens that have significant mental health and substance abuse issues. The role is primarily milieu management and Associates will receive weekly, on-site clinical supervision and the opportunity to accrue group hours quickly towards your license.

Extensive training and support will be provided to staff including regular trainings in DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), and you will have the support of your team-members. This position is challenging yet rewarding as our staff have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of teens and their families.

Primary Duties Include:

  • Provide direct care and supervision to clients in the milleu
  • Perform biopsychosocial assessments on clients
  • Conduct weekly process groups sessions
  • Potential for having a caseload of individual and family clients
  • Provide one-to-one support for clients and addresses areas where they need support with individual problems
  • Maintain vigilance and awareness of the peer community dynamic while monitoring the behavior, activities and safety of the clients
  • Conduct and facilitate psychoeducation groups and recreational activities
  • Crisis Management and intervention including safety plans and risk assessments
  • Responsible for client shift note and group note documentation
  • Accompany clients on outings and to AA/NA meetings
  • Facilitate urinalysis testing for clients
  • Establish a constructive therapeutic community in accordance with Treatment Center polices
  • Must demonstrate model behaviors

Requirements for Associate MFT/SW/PCC:

  • Must be registered as an AMFT/ACSW/APCC with the California Board of Behavior Science (or ability to be registered within 60 days of hire)
  • Driver’s License and reliable form of transportation
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Information for Applicant:

  • AM shift times are from 6am-2pm; PM shift times are from 2pm-10pm
  • Part-time positions typically consist of 2-3 shifts/week to start (approx. 20-28 hours/week)
  • The ideal candidate is someone who can be flexible with their schedule, depending on our client census
  • Candidates are required to attend one 4 hour treatment team meeting per week; the days of the meetings vary across facilities

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 to $17.50 /hour
