Dual Diagnosis RTC/ Intensive Outpatient Facility is currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious Intern- Psychotherapist Intern. Experience working with substance abuse population as well as experience providing clinical services to the Mental Health and Addiction Community. The ideal candidate must be motivated with a willingness to contribute in different capacities. Supervision hours will be provided. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
- Uphold and enforce the agency’s standards, policies and procedures, client rights, and professional code of ethics and conduct.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions for clients.
- Provide case management services and referrals to community services and resources
- Attended and participate as a team member in weekly clinical team meetings.
- Ensure HIPPA compliance
- Engaging in occasional clinical outreach
- Other duties as determined by the Clinical Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate or Masters in Psychology or related fields
- Possess a valid intern number
- Knowledge of or experience in the Mental Health and Addiction field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational, detail and interpersonal skills
