Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Stairway Resource Center is seeking a part time MFT at our outpatient program located in Woodland Hills. The therapist will run one or more regularly scheduled groups and will also see individual clients for private therapy sessions. Client population generally entails dual diagnosis adults with mood, anxiety, PTSD, substance, eating, and borderline personality disorders.

Duties include creating or adopting a curriculum and teaching relevant coping skills, assigning homework to practice the skills, and reviewing homework in the subsequent group session. The group facilitator writes clinical notes and notifies the treatment team of progress and problems following every session. The therapist in consultation as needed with the Clinical Director and treatment team.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or higher Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology
  • California license to provide therapeutic services
  • Knowledge and experience with AA or NA preferred

Salary is competitive and commiserate on experience.
