Description
Job Summary: Seeking a Therapist to work with our Residential Children’s Program located in the city of Fullerton (Valley View Location). Provide and document individual, family and group therapy to clients. Coordinate services with Case Managers, various departments and sites.

Job Details:
•       Provide ongoing weekly individual, family, and group therapy and group therapy to assigned clients as required by program statements and contracts.
•       Attend weekly supervision, staff meetings, and other meetings as required.
•       Refer clients for psychological and/or psychiatric evaluations and services as indicated.
•       Provide relevant information and coordinate with other staff members in regards to the client’s treatment goals.
•       Complete and maintain all necessary written documentation in a timely manner per agency/contractual requirements.
•       Be available on an on-call basis to resolve crisis situations.
•       Coordinate 5585’s of the Welfare and Institutions Code when clinically appropriate.
•       Assist as liaison between clients and Crittenton to encourage a spirit of understanding and mutual cooperation.
•       Complete discharge requirements as needed and provide referrals as needed.
•       Maintain standards and professional environment in keeping with state, county, COA and Mental Health guidelines and regulations.
•       Assist in presenting and promoting program goals to community support groups and others.
•       Complete the requirement of 40 hours of related training for each year of full time employment including trainings related to licensure as required.
•       Be culturally competent and sensitive to all staff, clients and their families.
•       Actively participate in continuous quality improvement and outcome measures.
•       Maintain and promote a positive and open communication with all contacts.
•       Other responsibilities that arise based on agency needs.

Skills
MA, MFT or MSW with BBS licensure or intern number. Ability to relate to diverse populations.
