Job Description
Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services is seeking a Clinician to work in our School Based Services program. This Clinician will work with children, families and case management in a school setting. Carry a caseload of clients. Must be well organized to manage DMH standard on their paperwork, comply with Vista billing requirements and have knowledge of basic computer word processing skills. Will act as a liaison on school sites being a resource to the school campus they serve.
MSW MFT LCSW
Intern or licensed in Psychology
REQUIRED; Bilingual Spanish / English
Trained in EBPs (Evidence Based Practice) preferred
Experience with children in a school or day treatment setting preferred

Social Worker II is responsible for providing direct psychosocial interventions and related counseling to patients and their families, including crisis intervention. Provides group therapy to outpatient population/ Performs psychosocial assessments and interventions utilizing psychosocial/social work methods, based on patient’s assessed needs. The social worker provides community resources and referrals. Provides consultation as needed to physicians and other members of the treatment team regarding the continued needs of the patient. This is a temporary, part-time position. SUMMARY To provide a safe and favorable therapeutic climate for each student in the school. The therapist is responsible for providing students and their families with an array of therapeutic services, working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team at the school.
