Casa de la Familia addresses the mental health needs of individuals of all ages who have suffered a psychological trauma in a culturally relevant manner with dignity, compassion and mutual respect. The focus of the psychological treatment, education, and outreach we provide is to the under-served and most marginalized minority populations of Southern California.
Casa de la Familia offers psychological counseling and/or psychiatric treatment to victims and their families to help them cope with the trauma of being either a victim or a witness of a crime. Additionally, Casa hosts educational events, attends fairs and symposiums, and also facilitates support groups at local community partner locations.
We are currently searching for dedicated clinical professionals to provide in home services to our clients in the Los Angeles area. Successful candidates will have excellent intrapersonal skills, be goal oriented, with the ability to organize their own schedules, all while paying strong attention to detail in paperwork completed for sessions. All professionals will be fully engaged and busy from the first day. This job is not only a demanding and fast paced one, but is also a very rewarding experience, assisting victims become survivors.
Responsibilities & Requirements * Have current registration with the board of psychology or the board pf behavior sciences * Provide in home therapy [traveling is a requirement] * Ability to organize your own schedule, maximizing your time * Strong administrative skills [completing paperwork accurately] * Exceptional clinical skills * Communication Skills with supervisors and case managers * Problem solving skills * Have a minimum caseload of 15-20 weekly patients
Should applicants be interns, we pride ourselves in applying hands on experiences so that you may attain these skills for not only this position, but your future aspirations as well.
Qualifications * Bilingual English/Spanish is required [most, if not all of our clients are spanish speaking] * Must be computer savvy and proficient in telecommunication systems * Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation is per diem, ranging from $20-$32 per session, depending on experience held

All compensation is per diem, and has room for improvement and promotions [increases with clinical skills and length within the agency] within the agency.
