We are a growing substance abuse treatment center serving adults in Hemet, CA. Due to our continued growth, we are in need of a chemical dependence counselors and therapists. The position requires clinicians who are intern status or licensed as social worker, professional counselor, or marriage and family therapist. Therapists are responsible for conducting individual, family, and group sessions for assigned caseload as well as working as a team with clients in clinic milieu. Counselor/Therapist position require experience working with substance abuse and chemical dependency population with working knowledge of interventions used in treatment. Requirements for consideration are proficiency in documentation, clinical writing, computer skills, and case load management. Knowledge of Dialectical Behavioral therapy is a plus.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
– Provide substance abuse and mental health treatment
– Clinical case management and interventions in accordance with regulations
– Facilitate family, group, and individual counseling with fully developed discharge plan
– Maintain accurate and timely documentation
– Execute assessment, treatment plan, documentation, and discharge plan in comprehensive manner.
– Participate in team meetings, training activities, workshops, and inter-agency conferences, etc.
Minimum job requirements:
– Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, MFT, LPC or related field, with experience working in a substance abuse and mental health treatment center is preferred.
– Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical record a plus.
– CPR and First Aid certification is required either upon hire or within 30 days of hire.
