The Facilitator is responsible for coordinating Child Family Teams which consist of a Parent Partner, a Youth Support Counselor, the assigned family, friends of the family, and various county partners including Social Workers, Mental Health Workers, and Probation Officers. The Facilitator provides some direct care but primarily ensures that the clients’ needs are fulfilled by the Parent Partner or Youth Support Counselor. Other responsibilities include weekly documentation and resource referral.

Requirements –

Minimum:

  • Master’s Degree in a counseling field or equivalent professional experience
  • Registered Internship preferred but not required
  • A minimum of two years experience with at-risk children and families in a mental health multi-disciplinary setting
  • Prior experience in leadership role preferred but not required
  • Education or experience in obtaining services and advocating for the needs of children and families
  • Experience with culturally diverse populations
  • Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL and clean driving record.
