Advantage On Call is looking for a Bilingual Marriage and Family Therapist Intern to work at one of our facilities in Compton, CA. The MFT Intern will provide social services to at-risk youth and their families under the direction of a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. This is a paid internship with that applies towards a BBS LMFT certification. The MFT Intern’s schedule is roughly M-F from 8:30am-5pm, but also requires employees to be on-call after hours in the case of an emergency.
All interested candidates must have:
- Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Rehab Therapy, Nursing, or equivalent
- BBS Intern Number or MFT License
- 2+ years of experience working with SED/at-risk youth
- Experience working with families in low-income areas
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Transportation (must drive to clients’ homes)
- Ability to pass a Drug Screen & Background Check
- Bilingual English/Spanish
