Monte Nido, one of the leading treatment centers for eating and exercise disorders in the nation, is seeking an Assistant Clinical Director for its new Newport Beach, California outpatient facility.

Applicants should have a graduate-level clinical degree, and should currently possess, or have the ability to obtain, licensure (MFT, LPC, LCSW or Ph.D.) in California. A minimum of two years of management and clinical experience in either a residential, hospital, or out-patient eating disorder setting, and experience with insurance care coordination and utilization review, is required. A clean national criminal background check and good driving record are also required.

Job responsibilities include assisting the Clinical Director in managing clinical services at the facility and assuming the responsibilities of the Director in his/her absence; facilitating program quality improvement and development initiatives; assisting with policy and procedure development; supervising clinical staff, as needed; leading staff meetings, interfacing between staff and management, and handling all clinical issues that arise. The Assistant Clinical Director position also provides psychological services for clients, as needed, including admissions and assessments; group, individual, and family therapy; and utilization reviews. The position maintains a client caseload, as determined by the Clinical Director.
