Responsible to provide community outreach, education and staff training on issues specifically related to older adult mental health needs. Carries part time caseload of older adult clients and provides primarily home-based therapy addressing needs of seniors who have mild to moderate mental health issues. The clinician is part of the Adult/Older Adult FSP and Field Capable Services for Senior’s program, works with the entire multidisciplinary team and has responsibility to be on-call rotation as well.
Ideal Candidate: MA or MSW required with emphasis in Geriatric Mental Health. ACSW, MFTI, MFT or LCSW required. Two years experience required preferably in a community mental health setting, serving older adult clients; computer skills required; experience in community outreach, public speaking/presentations.
