If so, HealthRIGHT 360 is currently looking to fill a Mental Health Specialist position opening at our North County Serenity House program in Escondido, CA. The ideal candidate has experience working with co-occurring disorders and criminal justice population in substance abuse treatment, has good clinical documentation skills, and loves working as a part of a team. In this position you will gain experience developing clinical skills, training on electronic health record system, and help to make meaningful changes in the lives of many. Sound interesting? We operate a residential facility that serves up to 120 women (with capacity for up to 20 children under 5 years of age) seeking recovery from substance use disorders. We offer gender responsive, trauma informed, person-centered services and evidence based interventions. For clients with co-occurring mental illness, we provide integrated substance use and mental health services which treat both conditions as primary.

Key Responsibilities -Provide direct therapy sessions
-Complete psycho-social and high risk assessments
-Identify treatment needs and recommend plans based on assessment
-Initiate and coordinate curriculum development and facilitate psycho-educational groups in Spanish
-Maintain and successfully retain assigned caseload of clients
-Crisis management

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
-Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field.
-Bilingual in Spanish
-3 years of experience in substance abuse treatment or a community mental health setting
-Registration with Board of Behavioral Sciences

Preferred:
-Licensed with Board of Behavior Sciences
