Dual role position. Looking for full time, licensed or registered, Mental Health Therapist to provide both therapeutic services and quality assurance duties for a county contracted program. Therapist would provide therapy to a caseload of children/adolescents and their families.
-Field based therapist to provide therapy for children and adolescents at their home, school or other community setting.
-Primarily working with foster and group home youth.
-Use of Evidenced based practices when required. Must maintain fidelity of the model of treatment.
-Some crisis intervention, case management and outreach services.
-Responsible for completing all LA County DMH paperwork including assessments, treatment plan and progress notes within agency and county guidelines.
-Must meet weekly billing productivity requirement.
-Weekly individual and group supervision
-Additional consultation as needed
-Attend weekly staff and case presentation meetings.
-Experience with diagnosis, treatment planning, coordination of services, and linkage when needed.
-On call crisis management
-Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
QA responsibilities would include chart reviews and review of outcome measures.
-Organize and conduct chart reviews on a monthly basis. Ensures that a minimum of 10% of all active chart are included in each review and that a final review is completed on closed charts
-Assist in development of tracking and monitoring tools
-Attends DMH QA/QI meetings as well as agency meetings and is a participant on the QA Committee
-Track and ensure accuracy and completion of Outcome Measures for all EBPs
-Performs other duties as prescribed by supervisor
Required to:

-Have knowledge of DSM V/ICD 10
-Have knowledge of laws and regulations related to client’s rights and best practices.
-Have knowledge of community resources and agencies providing support services -Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
-Must have excellent time management skills
Education and Experience
-Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy
-Post graduate clinical experience required
-Previous experience providing in-home services preferred
