JOB SUMMARY:

Full time Substance Use Disorder Clinician who loves working with at-risk teenagers. In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide group counseling using the evidence-based Seven Challenges model. The right candidate for this job enjoys working with adolescents and their families, coordinates well with school staff and other service providers, and has excellent documentation and time management skills.  Experience with substance use and group therapy required. Registration with BBS or BOP required and will provide clinical hours and supervision for license-track clinicians.Bilingual in English/Spanish required. Pay differential and signing bonus for clinicians upon passing of bilingual exam.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The SUD Clinician provides group counseling using the Seven Challenges model. Also provides outreach to potential participants and coordinates with school staff and other service providers. The Clinician maintains all necessary clinical notes, assessments, and treatment plans in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CA Licensed MFT or LCSW, or CA BBS-registered MFT Intern or ASW Intern OR Certified Addictions Treatment CounselorOR Registration with CATC, completed coursework, and hours accrual for certification required.
  • Experience with ADP billing and Avatar system preferred.
  • Experience in working with substance use disorders and adolescents required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required.
  • Proof of citizenship or right to work in the United States
  • Criminal Record Clearance.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License and vehicle insurance.
  • Provide own transportation.

WAGES & BENEFITS

Our total compensation package includes a comprehensive medical and dental insurance plan for full time employees, 403(b) retirement plan, paid holiday, sick time, and 17 days of paid vacation, pro-rated for positions less than 40 hours a week.
