U Matter Detox Center is a substance use and mental health inpatient treatment facility. We are looking for associate level clinicians to join our team. Supervision is provided.

Job Title: Associate Level Therapist (Substance use, anxiety, depression, PTSD)

Duties:

– Conduct individual and group therapy sessions with clients
– Provide counseling services to individuals and families
– Assess and diagnose mental health conditions, including PTSD
– Develop treatment plans based on client needs and goals
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
– Utilize behavioral health techniques to address emotional and psychological issues
– Implement crisis management strategies when necessary
– Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and outcomes
– Maintain accurate and confidential medical records

-Treatment and discharge planning

Skills:

– Strong background in therapy and counseling techniques
– Experience in working with patients with substance use, PTSD and trauma-related issues
– Knowledge of behavioral health principles and interventions
– Ability to provide patient-centered care and establish rapport with clients
– Excellent crisis management skills to handle emergency situations effectively
– Strong data collection and analysis abilities for treatment evaluation purposes
– Detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate medical records
– Proficient in conducting individual and group counseling sessions

Requirements:

-Master degree in psychology or related field

-Experience working in a substance use facility preferred

-Basic Life Support Certificate
