Job Title: Crisis Therapist
Reports To: Program Manager
Supervision: Provided on-site – Group and individual
Job Summary: The Crisis Therapist is responsible for a comprehensive range of therapeutic services that support the prevention, intervention, and treatment of mental health and co-occurring disorders. The Crisis Therapist works as a member of a multidisciplinary team to produce the best outcome for clients. The Crisis Therapist is on-call to respond to crisis situations and emergencies in a timely and effective manner, often requiring immediate availability and flexibility.
Work Environment: The Teen Project, Inc. operates the Freehab Crisis Residential Program, a state-licensed residential facility for up to 16 female adults. The Crisis Residential Program is a 24-hour facility that provides round-the-clock treatment and care for its residents in a caring and compassionate environment. This is an emergency housing facility for residents being released from (but not limited to) acute, short-term hospital care. The program’s goal is to obtain permanent and stable residential placement.
