We provide counseling services to individuals, teens, and couples both in-person at our El Dorado Hills location and online across California. Our areas of expertise include anxiety, postpartum depression, trauma, spirituality, existential crisis, and life purpose.
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role as an Associate Clinician (AMFT, APCC, ACSW) at The Holistic Counseling Center. We are looking for someone that practices relational, transpersonal and psychodynamic psychotherapy, with training in (or a desire to be trained in) IFS and Mindfulness.
As an Associate Clinician, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to clients, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in clinical supervision and staff meetings.
This role is primarily located in El Dorado Hills, CA (our office is off the 50, just a few minutes from Folsom, and near Sacramento) with the flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Resonate with the values of The Holistic Counseling Center
- Must have a valid licensure or registration as an AMFT, APCC, or ACSW (or receiving it in the next few months)
- Experience providing counseling services to individuals, teens, and couples
- Knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Training in, or interested in receiving training in: Transpersonal therapy, IFS, Mindfulness , Polyvagal Theory
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Familiarity with California laws and ethical standards for mental health professionals
- Experience with teletherapy and online counseling
- Additional certifications or specialized training in specific counseling modalities is a plus
- Available to hold 15+ client sessions per week
- Must be able and willing to work some evenings Monday-Friday (3pm-7pm) and/or one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). Please let me know your availability when you apply.
