Primary Therapist

Responsibilities
● Facilitate comprehensive assessment, evaluation and diagnostic summary for assigned clients
● Facilitate multi-disciplinary treatment planning and updates for assigned clients
● Provide individual sessions for all assigned clients (at least twice a week)
● Coordinate treatment objectives for assigned clients
● Initiate discharge and aftercare planning for assigned clients and updated discharge plan weekly
● Provide group counseling, education, and meeting per program schedule
● Provide conjoint therapy as specified in client’s treatment plans
● Facilitate ancillary services/community referrals for assigned clients
● Facilitate legal commitments with client case load when necessary
● Coordinate all treatment services needed for assigned client case load
● Ensure client records for assigned case load were comprehensive and complete to meet
● licensing standards
● Participate in in-services trainings, individual/group supervision meetings, and residential staff community meetings
● Assist with crisis interventions assuring milieu is therapeutic and safe

Minimum Requirements
● Masters Degree or Higher in Psychology or Related Field
● Licensed Mental Health Professional (Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist) or AMFT or ACSW with over 1500 hours of practice
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $88,000.00 per year

  • Tarzana, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
