We are a Davis, California psychotherapy office and non-profit seeking a Full-time/Part-time associate therapists to join our team! Our clients are of all age ranges, the majority of our growth being 18 years old or older, however we are growing our child therapy clientele and maintain a dedicated play therapy office.

Our group practice allows you the opportunity attract your own clientele and create flexibility in your schedule. You will be responsible for the creation of your caseload, with support, in-house referrals and private practice coaching.

Please review the minimum qualifications below, but most importantly, all applicants MUST HAVE A CURRENT ACTIVE ASSOCIATE NUMBER.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to write reports identifying patient goals, outcomes and interventions.
• Strong organizational skills to balance productivity needs and required paperwork.
• Ability to provide individual and family therapy sessions, to children and their families.
• Ability to work 2-3 evenings a week if appropriate for client population.

Job Duties

• Evaluates patient capabilities and develops a treatment plan of therapeutic activities adapted to the needs, interests, abilities and medical history of patients.
• Establishes therapeutic goals for individuals and plan programs to meet these goals.
• Periodically evaluates patient’s progress toward established goals.
• Maintains clinical notes and records.
• Coordinates the therapy program with other services such as play therapy, in order to accomplish overall therapeutic goals.
• Facilitates therapy groups for patients and their families.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Ability to write reports identifying patient goals, outcomes and interventions
• Training or experience providing therapeutic treatment services to children
• Active driver’s license
• Some evening availability

Preferred Qualifications:
Spanish Speaking a plus but not mandatory
EFT Trained/Attachment-Based training or orientation
Trained in play therapy
Experience working with clients with anxiety or Trauma

Work Schedule:

The Child and Family Therapist will have the flexibility to schedule their own appointments to meet the needs of the clients which will likely require some evening availability.

Pay

Paid positions for associates that qualify are a commission style wage based on fees collected.  A flat 40% of fees collected is offered with client rates between $75 and $125– with the majority of our rate $100 or higher.
