Foundry Clinical Group is hiring talented Associate clinicians to join our sex-addiction treatment team. This position is an opportunity to receive expert training in the fields of sexual compulsivity and betrayal trauma.

Foundry provides treatment for the relational system (individuals, spouses/partners, and couples) affected by sex addiction and betrayal trauma. Our clinicians practice as a “treatment team,” maintaining a high degree of contact and collaboration in order to optimize interventions across the clinical system.

Encouraging applicants with background in addictions, either chemical or behavioral. Candidates with some experience in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing or NLP are also valued applicants.

Staff Therapist will receive clients and referrals from Foundry, and work from our offices in the Pill Hill district of Uptown Oakland.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

MA/MS or PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or related field
Registered and/or licensed with the BBS or BOP
Clinical interest in sex and sexuality
High degree of presence and confidence in the room
Ability to provide clinical containment for individuals and couples in crisis
Expertise working with couples and groups
Comfort providing psychoeducation and highly directive interventions
Public speaking and lecturing skills

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Addiction/recovery experience & 12-step knowledge
Training/experience working with trauma and trauma-treatment modalities
CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) Candidate or interest in pursuing certification. Foundry staff therapists receive approved supervision hours towards CSAT certification.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain caseload of 10-15 clinical hours/week
Must be available some evenings and one Saturday or Sunday per month.
Conduct psychoeducation lectures for monthly Foundry workshops/IOP
Attend weekly staff and case-consultation meeting (Thursday afternoons)
