Resilience Treatment Center is now hiring a part-time Program Therapist!!
Resilience Treatment Center is a primary mental health treatment facility offering integrative psychiatric and psychological services for clients that suffer from a broad range of psychological disorders, as well as issues stemming from secondary chemical dependency. The Program Therapist reports to the Program Director(s) and provides direct service to the clients in the form of individual, family and group therapy.
Status
Part-Time non-exempt. Friday and Saturday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. Supervision is 1:30-3:30 on Tuesday afternoons in our West LA location.
Clinical specialties
One or more of the following preferred, but not required: DBT (Behavioral Tech training a plus), CBSST, Psychosis, OCD, EMDR
Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities
Facilitate group therapy.
Plan, facilitate and assist in client activities.
Assist in client assessments and pre-admissions evaluations.
Facilitate family and conjoint sessions for assigned clients.
Maintain appropriate documentation as required, including all notes in EMR.
Collaborate with utilization review Coordinator regarding ongoing concurrent insurance reviews and complete utilization reviews as needed.
Crisis interventions as appropriate.
Provide individual therapy and specialty sessions and monitor progress and treatment planning as assigned.
For assigned individual clients, provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms.
Other duties as assigned.
Prerequisite Qualifications
Following are the qualifications required to perform the essential functions of this position.
Current registration or license with Board of Behavioral Science: LMFT, MFT intern, LPCC, PCC intern, LCSW, ASW or related degree and clinical qualifications.
Familiarity with Health care laws and regulations, including HIPAA.
Ability to work collaboratively with co-workers at all levels of the organization.
Previous mental health experience.
Ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, and professional boundaries.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
