Marriage and Family Therapist Associate/ Clinical Social Worker Associate

Aspire Behavioral Health (ABH) is a leading behavioral health facility in Bakersfield, CA. ABH recently opened its doors to meet a need in the community for a unique mindfulness-based Intensive Outpatient Program and psychotherapy for teens and adults with cutting edge treatment modalities including Meditation, Yoga, Tai-Chi, Therapeutic Drumming and Art Therapy.

We are currently seeking a part-time Associate for our adolescent program with an openness to learning Mindfulness practices and warm, empathetic disposition, to join our growing Clinical Team. Our center located in downtown Bakersfield.

Hours include: Part-time Afternoon and Evening hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide on-site group therapy following established curriculum to a diverse population of adolescents and adults
  • Conduct Intake Mental Health Assessments and implement treatment plans
  • Maintain and update clinical records; write progress notes
  • Provide slight case management and/or crisis intervention

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited school in, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
  • Supervision provided by Licensed Clinicians; Hours will count toward licensure
  • Valid Associates license by the BBS.
  • Valid malpractice insurance
  • Must have excellent engagement, interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and learn with a mindfulness focus
  • Ability to utilize proper judgment and work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
