Mental Health Clinician

K&S Therapeutic Services, Inc. is hiring clinicians (MFT, PCC, CSW) to work in a busy group practice in Los Angeles. We have a fun-loving and supportive team of dedicated clinicians and staff. We currently have a waitlist and are looking for someone to join our team long-term.

Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of at least 15 clients per week. Provide individual, group, family, and marital therapy.
- Conduct one weekly process group.
- Responsible for documentation of all clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge plans, and any other therapeutic contact.
- Use Simple Practice (Electronic Health Records System) to maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records that meets organizational and private insurance company standards.
- Attend weekly clinical consultation/supervision on Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Participate in training, continuing education, and supervision (if applicable).
- Attend individual supervision.
- Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the organization as needed.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Possess a master’s degree from an accredited college with a major in clinical psychology or clinical social work. Must be registered with the BBS.
- One year in a community mental health setting.
- Experience treating clients with mood, anxiety, developmental, and behavioral disorders, as well as family relationship issues.
- Training and/or competence with Evidence Based Practices (EBBs).
- Experience working with children ages 5 and up.
- One year conducting individual, group, and family sessions.
- Diagnostic skills utilizing DSM-criteria.
Skills
- Comfortability and competence working with clients from an ethnically diverse population.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
- Familiarity using electronic health records systems.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, and multi-task.
- Flexible, cooperative, and adaptable.
- Ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team.
Time Commitment
- Ability to work weekday evenings, and/or weekends.
- 15+ client hours per week.
- Available for required consultation meetings; 2 hours per week.
- Ability to participate in weekly individual supervision; 1 hour per week.
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience.
*All services are provided virtually until Dr. Fauci reports it’s safe to return to business as usual.
