This position will be providing adoption -related individual, family and group therapy addressing clinical issues including but not limited to the adoption triad, loss, rejection, abandonment, guilt, low-self esteem, anger, resentment, trust and attachment. Initiate and complete all DMH paperwork, including reviewing and correcting process notes, annuals and CCCP’s. Monitor and maintain personal billing goals. Contribute therapeutic feedback for case quarterly reports.

Qualified Candidates require a master degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following: Social Work; Social welfare Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling; Child Psychology; Child Development; Counseling Psychology; Social Psychology; Clinical Psychology; Educational Psychology; or Education with emphasis on Counseling. At least (2) years adoption experience, including, but not limited to, an awareness of the development process of adoption and training in adoption therapy strategies and techniques including the Seven Core Issues of Adoption. Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.

Notes
Benefits available on the first of the month following 60 days of employment in a full time capacity. A phone allowance and mileage reimbursement will also be provided.
