SHARPER FUTURE, a division of Pacific Forensic Psychology Associates, Inc., is an established, fast-paced forensic mental health organization that provides an array of assessment and treatment services in the realm of behavioral mental health. Many of the services address the needs of those who have become involved in the criminal justice system.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
A part-time (24 hours per week) internship including a $250 stipend per month. This is a 9-12 month internship experience.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Individual and group treatment with a post-incarcerated criminal population (Federal Probation)
• Supervised by a Psychologist or MFT, 2.5 hours per week
• Working solely with adults
• Interactive and supportive team-based environment
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Currently enrolled in a MFT or ASW program
• Professional and confidential
• Comfortable in a small, team-oriented environment
• Trustworthy and reliable
• Strong work ethic
