Responsibilities
Become a part of a dedicated and compassionate team! Therapists who are currently registered with a licensing board primarily handle cases as assigned and perform intakes for mental health services. Therapists interview and collect information from clients/families/caretakers, identify symptoms, make diagnoses and develop therapeutic treatment plans and administer therapeutic treatment within accepted professional and Clinic guidelines.. Must timely complete required paperwork using an electronic system. Other duties may be assigned. Actual work hours vary but this is a full-time position.

Positions require a master’s degree or “equivalent” (Ph.D., Psy.D.,, MA or MS), CURRENT licensing board registration plus clinical experience. Supervised clinical hours for master’s level clinicians obtaining hours toward licensure is provided. Bilingual Spanish speaking ability, experience with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health paperwork and licensure are highly desired. Clinic workers must also complete tests for TB and fingerprint clearance by the Department of Justice. Reliable Transportaton, valid CA driver license and insurable driving record are also required.
