Bienestar is an organization that provides HIV testing, mental health, counseling, support groups, well being, for the Latino LGBT community and those impacted by various social issues. Bienestar Human Services currently has a full-time MH clinician position available. This candidates will provide individual, couple’s and family therapy to individuals and their families impacted by HIV/AIDS. All clients under the clinician’s case load have an HIV positive diagnosis. Candidate must be BILINGUAL! This is a requirement. Candidate must be willing to work 2 days at the San Fernando Valley location and 3 days in East LA. Clinician will need to hold a caseload of 20 clients and run 1 group in the Valley and 1 group in East LA. Clinician will receive individual and group clinical supervision-free of charge. Clinician pay rate is $19/hourly. If you are not okay with the pay rate or you are not bilingual, please do not apply. This is a set rate and being bilingual is mandatory and necessary. Candidate must be registered with the BBS and hold a Master’s degree from an accredited institution.

Skills
Candidate must be: bilingual, have transportation, basic knowledge about HIV/AIDS, and be able to do community presentations and outreach in order to recruit and enroll new clients into mental health services. Clinician must actively recruit their clients. If you do not hold the skills to conduct outreach and recruit, this is not the position for you. This candidate must be a clinician, educator and outreach worker.
