We are currently seeking a full-time bilingual Therapist for our Full Service Partnership Program in Van Nuys.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MA in psychology, MSW, or Ph.D., Psy.D. in psychology from an accredited graduate program. One year clinical experience with children, adolescents and families.
  • Some experience providing home based counseling service. Minimum one year experience working with multiple-issue families (e.g. unemployment, poverty, substance abuse, homelessness).
  • Strong interest in providing in- home, strength-based, culturally relevant counseling services. Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing community based services to multi-cultural population.
  • Fluency in Spanish highly desirable. Evening hours required to provide treatment services. Must have registered BBS number.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide individual and/or family treatment to children who are at risk of abuse and/or neglect and children with severe emotional difficulties.
  • Provide individual/family in home counseling services to children and adolescents with a range of psychological, emotional and behavioral problems.
  • Provide comprehensive treatment services which may include interfacing with community psychiatric hospitals, Department of Family and Children Services (DCFS), Department of Mental Health (DMH) school officials, probation department, court system, law enforcement and others as appropriate.
