Position Summary:

The Behavioral Specialist is responsible for leading 1:1 direct behavioral intervention services to clients/caregivers in their natural environments, documentation of services, collaboration with other social service, Regional Center, educational or mental health professionals, and participating in group and individual supervision. Additional responsibilities include administrative functions, and being on call as needed. The Behavior Specialist is active in supporting and implementing wraparound philosophy and its individualized, strengths-based, culturally competent, family-centered approach to behavioral, evidence based intervention.

Requirements:

  1. BA required and 4 years experience in mental health related field required. OR Registered intern or associate with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, (or able to obtain registered within first 6 months after hire), Required.
  2. Licensed as MFT, LCSW preferred
  3. ABA experience preferred
  4. Demonstrated ability to assess, triage and organize work
  5. Bilingual Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, ASL preferred
