Description
Mental Health Clinician will provide mental health assessments and evaluation; individual, group, adult, children, and family counseling, and develop treatment service plans and discharge summaries. Position is the Single Fixed Point of Responsibility (SFPR) for assigned client.
Position will provide services within programs that are client/family driven focus for all age groups that promotes inclusion of family when at all possible, utilizing EBP treatment modalities.
Must be able to deliver field-based (rather than clinic-based) or in home services. Services may require intensive in-home treatment, crisis response or school-based services.
Clinician will complete outcome measurements for services provided.
Must be able to complete timely documentation of client services and service treatment plans and periodic plan reviews.
Be willing and able to provide community education presentations and outreach when requested.

Skills
At minimum, Master degree in psychology, counseling or social work; registered or licensed with CA BBS; have 1 yr experience in clinical social work or counseling, must have reliable, individual means of transportation; able to speak and write professionally in English, performs good keyboarding skills; preferred bi-lingual English -Spanish or Asian/Pacific Islander Language.

Notes
Position may be based at LA or Long Beach office but be able to provide services in other areas of LA County. PACS offers comparable salary, vacation, sick, and holiday benefits, 401(k) retirement plan, group health insurance coverage; standard reimbursement for business mileage.
