Seneca Family of Agencies is a nonprofit agency that provides an unconditional continuum of care for the most vulnerable families in California. At Seneca, we form strengths-based partnerships with parents and caregivers to meet the greatest needs of each family served and to help them maximize their potential. Seneca staff work closely with county agencies, school districts, and other community-based providers to ensure that children and families receive the supportive services they need to ensure safety, stability, and permanency.

Seneca is proud to introduce a Crisis Stabilization Continuum of Care for Ventura County youth and their families who are in the midst of emerging and/or acute crises. This program offers a spectrum of core behavioral health care crisis services including crisis stabilization services and short-term acute residential treatment. These services provide safe refuge for young people in serious distress–including those youth who have just experienced profound mental health needs including psychiatric evaluation or hospitalization. The Crisis Clinician provides direct services to clients and families in crisis in conjunction with Psychiatric Health Facility triage staff.  These services may include: assessment of level of care needs, psychosocial evaluation, coordination with county social workers and placement staff, maintenance of case records including treatments plans and Mental Health charting, and working as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
