The Position:
The School-Based Counselor is an on-site direct service provider at a local school. Each on-site Counselor works with high-risk children and their families, teachers, school counselors, other school personnel and administrators. The School-Based Counselor also works with community agencies to make appropriate referrals. Clinical supervision will be provided.

Employment Standards:
• Must be registered MFT Intern in good-standing with the BBS.
• Must posses valid CA driver license and auto insurance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Excellent analytical, computer, written and verbal communication skills required.
• Professional attitude, teamwork, and ability to maintain confidentiality a must.
• Must have experience with MediCal documentation, ShareCare, and Clinician’s Gateway including the completion of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with ADMHS quality management standards.

Classification, Hours and Pay Rate:
• This position is non-exempt, with benefits, 36.5 hours per week, rate dependent upon experience.
