Two Positions Available – one Bilingual Spanish and one English
Position Overview
The MST Therapist works in a team with other therapists providing Multisystemic Therapy (MST) to juvenile offenders and their families throughout Contra Costa County. MST is an intensive family- and community-based treatment program that focuses on addressing all environmental systems that impact chronic and violent juvenile offenders—-their homes and families, schools and teachers, neighborhoods and friends.
Education, License, and Experience Requirements
Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related subject area.
Bilingual Spanish required for one position, English only for the other; please specify in your response.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compensation
$25/hour plus 5% stipend for bilingual

Ability to accrue four (4) weeks accrued vacation plus 10 paid holidays per year
Excellent clinical training, individual and group supervision, and assistance toward licensure
About Community Options for Families and Youth
COFY has been serving children, youth and families in the greater Bay Area since 2007. We contract with Contra Costa County Mental Health to provide MST services, FFT services, and Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS). Additionally we provide Special Education Individualized Education Plan related mental health services to over 25 school districts and SELPAs in the Bay area. We are committed to maintaining a mental health community that provides both collegial support and ongoing training to effectively work with traumatized multiply stressed families, youth and children.
