SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct initial assessments, clinical case management, and crisis intervention.¨Utilizing information gathered and knowledge if diagnostic criteria from DSM 5, assign diagnosis to clients and create appropriate treatment plan. ¨Conform to all legal and ethical standards applicable to psychotherapy or counseling providers as required by state law, agency requirements and the profession. ¨Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment. ¨Attend two-hour group supervision per week and one-hour individual supervision as necessary. ¨Attend training and/or clinical case presentations. ¨Adhere to Valley Family Center’s policies and procedures. ¨Good writing, reading and verbal skills. ¨Organizational skills. ¨Good time and personnel management. ¨Maintain positive work relationship in a respectful and collaborative manner. ¨Sensitivity to working with culturally diverse population. ¨Available to work on evenings. ¨Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
REQUIREMENT:
In lieu of one of the requirements noted above, the applicant must demonstrate he/she has reasonable expectation to qualify upon completion of the spring 2017 semester.
