The Intensive Treatment Foster Care (ITFC) Clinician is responsible for both the clinical treatment and case management of up to eight children placed in treatment foster homes. Seneca’s ITFC program serves children aged 6-18 who have emotional and behavioral challenges due to histories of trauma, neglect and abuse. With a focus on the strengths and value of each child, the team helps foster youth to recover and flourish as they learn coping skills and improve their ability to regulate feelings and behaviors.
“I love working for Seneca, and more specifically ITFC as it feels like I’m working with family. There certainly are challenges, but these challenges are easily outweighed by the successes I see within the work we do. To work with a team and agency that share both your vision and values is amazing.”
