SHARPER FUTURE is currently hiring a full-time licensed or qualified pre-licensed Staff Clinician to work with a forensic population in our San Jose clinic. Master level candidates must be registered or in the process of registering with the BBS. This position will provide both short-term and long-term therapeutic services to a post-incarcerated, outpatient population, which includes: individual therapy, group therapy, administering assessments with written reports and monthly treatment plans. Prior training and/or experience in substance abuse treatment and/or working with a criminal population is preferred, along with knowledge of cognitive-behavioral interventions.

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check

Minimum Requirements
• Master’s Degree or doctoral level degree in mental health
• LMFT, MFT, LCSW, PhD, ASW, MFTI, LPCC licensed or qualified pre-licensed
• Clinical experience with substance abuse and/or forensic treatment
• Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well on a team, adaptable to change, proven effective communication
