AIDS Services Foundation OC is looking for a bilingual Social Worker. The candidate must have a Masters of Social Work, MFT or equivalent. A licensed Social Worker is preferred. The Social Worker provides psychosocial support, and direct clinical practice with clients and client systems. Candidate should have knowledge and understanding of psychosocial issues of HIV infected individuals, strong background in resource development and client advocacy. Experience in medical social work, substance abuse treatment and neurologically impaired clients helpful.

Scope of work includes but is not limited to:

· Assess and supervise a primary caseload of approximately 40-45 clients.

· Conduct psychosocial assessments and implement treatment plans for clients.

· Provide crisis intervention, short term mental health services and psychosocial case management as needed and appropriate.

· Assist in the development of agency programs to address psychosocial needs of clients.

· Provide written documentation of work and timely submission of statistics and reports.

· Make hospital and home visits for purpose of assessment and provision of services as needed.
