Nonprofit looking for full time Community Based Therapist!

Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or his/her designee, the Therapist provides direct assessment, treatment and necessary collateral services to assigned youth and their families.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide screening, assessment and treatment planning services to all assigned youth and families.
  • Provide treatment interventions in the clinic, homes of clients, juvenile hall and throughout the community.
  • Provides case management, direct treatment, and necessary collateral services to all assigned children and families.
  • Works with various modalities including individual, conjoint, family and group therapy, as appropriate.
  • Maintain client documentation in compliance with program guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A current California license to practice psychotherapy (LCSW, MFT, or PhD) or registration as a pre-licensed intern.
  • Current state of California drivers license in good standing, and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to meet contract requirements and relevant regulations, such as fingerprint clearances, Tb test, etc
  • Strong oral and written English language skills essential. Bilingual skills preferred.

Evening group therapist needed ASAP

Looking for a therapist who is an intern, licensed or possibly an exceptional trainee to run outpatient groups at a psychiatric hospital in Pasadena, CA. You would run chemical dependency or straight mental health groups for adults Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays, working hours 1pm-10pm. Paid position, lovely park-like/campus setting, excellent experience with high-functioning population. Supervision provided at no cost.
