SAY San Diego is currently looking for a Clinician I to join our Reflections program!

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a caseload of 12-15 clients, conduct individual, family, and group counseling services.
• Conduct home visits, mental health assessments, and formulate individualized treatment plans
• Ongoing collaboration with San Diego County Probation, school personnel, and community partners.
• Complete MediCal paperwork, maintain accurate updated case files, and compile statistical data monthly.
• Understand how to identify, refer and/or treat dual diagnosis issues.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications):
• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• MFT/LCSW preferred, but not required.
• Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (ASW or IMF).
• License eligible; LCSW/LMFT licensing supervision provided.
• Experience in working with youth involved with the juvenile justice system, substance abuse, gang activity, and child abuse.
• Access to reliable transportation and willing to use it for job-related tasks.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge and experience working with minority populations.
• Knowledge and experience working with dually diagnosed clients.
• Strong clinical skills in family therapy, group, and multi-family group therapy, and parent education.
• Knowledge of Cerner database preferred, County required paperwork a plus.
