POSITION: Marriage Family Therapist “MFT” Intern

SALARY: $20.64 per hour, plus benefits

HOURS: 8 hours per day – 5 days per week (12 months – 194 days)

Monday – Friday

LOCATION: Varies throughout Inyo County

DESCRIPTION: Maintains strict confidentiality while providing direct therapy services to individuals, students and families to support mental health needs; trains and consults with staff about optimizing and supporting students’ mental health. During internship maintains regular contact with supervisors per licensing requirements. Works under the administrative and evaluative supervision of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or appropriately licensed individual.

REQUIREMENTS: Master’s Degree from accredited college or university in the field of marriage and family counseling and/or all academic preparation required for licensing or internship as defined by state licensing requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Some experience with mental health consumer population is highly desirable.
