Treatment center in Tarzana Ca, looking for individuals with a degree in MFT and MSW. Masters degree in other behavioral science field will be taken into consideration. License-eligible and registered with the CAL BBS. Experience working with individuals recovering from addiction in a residential setting. Strong clinical note taking and reporting with the ability to chart patient progress to meet documentation requirements.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to successfully create a safe space for open discussion for clients recovering from addictions
- Have experience with group facilitation within a residential setting
- Strong record keeping and composing of individual group notes for each client, ensuring the utilization of evidence-based practices
- Be able to communicate concerns and needs of clients with appropriate staff
- Be able to run family groups & individual sessions
Skills and Knowledge
- Documentation group participation
- Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- Group facilitation techniques with clients from diverse backgrounds and histories.
- Completing biopsychosocial assessments
- Completing suicide assessments
