JOB TITLE: Bilingual Mental Health Clinician (Spanish Bilingual Required)
PROGRAM: Child and Family Resource Center (CFRC)
SCHOOL: Hoover Community School (Redwood City)
DEPARTMENT: Department of Early Childhood and Family Services
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
STATUS: Part Time (20-24 hrs/wk); Opportunity to increase hours
SALARY: Starting $27/hr. DOE
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
StarVista’s Child and Family Resource Centers are on-site at 12 schools throughout San Mateo County. Each clinician is assigned to one school and will be embedded with their team throughout the week. Supervision, team meetings, and training will take place on a weekly basis at StarVista offices. The clinician will provide individual, group, family therapy, and classroom workshops as needed. The clinician will provide crisis intervention services as appropriate.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Seeking a post-master’s degree candidate who is registered, or registration eligible, with the Board of Psychology or Board of Behavioral Sciences as an AMFT, ASW, APCC. Driver’s License and HR clearance required, including TB test, and Department of Justice LiveScan Fingerprint clearance.
POSITION STATUS:
Availability during school hours (8:00 am-4:00 pm) is required. Must be available a minimum of at least 20-24 hours per week. Opportunity to increase hours to full time.
Non-Exempt, minimum 20-24 hrs/week, minimum commitment through June 2021benefits include health, dental, and vision, sick leave, vacation, personal days, and holiday pay.
