POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing all clinical aspects of YCCC programs including staff training, monitoring, and advising on treatment plans and counseling, review of client charts, and clinical oversight of agency programs. Clinical Director has responsibility for overseeing the services related to client treatment and medical records documentation and collaborating with staff to address all aspects of the clinical program.

Travel will be required to multiple programs throughout Yolo and Placer Counties.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, or social work; working towards licensure
  • Experience: Two years of experience in mental health program or clinical program.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Training and Knowledge Base; awareness of current mental health programs including, Community Mental Health Specialty Mental Health Services / Mental Health Plan; Assertive Community Treatment (ACT); Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT)
  • Collaboration with Management Program Directors; weekly consult in person at the respective site; oversight of recovery and social rehabilitation model of care; clinical oversight: case consults, oversight and reports per Internal Incident Reporting/safety (IIR’s), crisis intervention support
  • On-Call Program; update P&P; rotation coverage
  • Quality Improvement; attend and participate at county clinical meetings, including SUR and CIT
